Siemens, a top global technological company, active on the Romanian market since 1905, when the “Societatea Romana de Electricitate Siemens-Schuckert Societate Anonima” was established.
Building awareness and earning trust for TIA Portal, considering its key techological benefits: intuitive, efficient and proven. Promoting TIA Portal V13 as an innovative product, a much improved version of the previous portal.
We started from the intention of transferring Tia Portal’s key features, ”Intuitive, Efficient and Proven” into our own event strategy. Therefore we used intuitive, efficient and proven high tech presentation tools and tactics to engage the participants: Siemens’ most important clients and partners as well as Siemens top specialists and Government representatives.
A holographic production line to captivate the audience
The guests could admire a 30-minute holographic representation of the new portal from the integration into the automotive production line to the final product: a BMW 5 Series this time. The participants had the opportunity to test the newest Siemens equipments and assist to a live demonstration of the new concept. To create the perfect environment, we set up a mini-exhibition and invited participants to test their knowledge of Siemens technology in a “Who wants to be a millionaire?”-type of contest.
We ditched the traditional follow-up for a… personalized newspaper
We needed to find a creative solution to monitor post-event actions and results, so we “launched” the “Innovation V13” newspaper: we interviewed the participants at the launching event, took photos and created personalized newspapers with the name and picture of each of the attendees. We knew that putting their picture in the newspaper would add value to it (they would almost certainly keep it, maybe display it in their office, tell people about it, therefore creating awareness for the product). We generated this marketing tool to replace the traditional follow-up report and also turn it into an effective business networking opportunity for Siemens. One week after the event, Siemens representatives visited the participants themselves, to hand them their newspaper and reconnect.
